I had an amazing day in Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park.  It started by hiking to the summit of Mitchel Peak at 10,365 elevation and was literally in the clouds.  Next up was walking to the top of Moro Rock which is a huge rock dome and the stairway to the top was difficult since in affraid of heights.  I did it though.  All the way to the top and took pictures.  Later in the day I hiked around another part of the park and saw this bear near Crescent Meadow.  He was only 10 to 15 feet away and wasn’t bothered at all by the picture taking.  He was eating a large pine cone and looked like he ripped open a rotten log.  It was just an amazing moment.
