Dropped off Einstein for surgery #1 this morning.

I told the doc­tor how Ein­stein has sep­a­ra­tion anx­i­ety and that he would start whin­ing, bark­ing, lick­ing the door and being a freak as soon as I left.  She said, “Yes, we all remem­ber him from last time.  Don’t worry, we’ll give him the ‘happy juices’ as soon as you go.”   I thought to myself, “it’s me with the anx­i­ety right now.”   Appar­ently, they don’t give ‘happy juices’ to the pet owner, just the pet.
